What began as a small gathering of seven women with a shared passion for quilting and service has blossomed into the Nimble Thimbles Quilt Club we know today. For over 35 years, we’ve woven together artistry and generosity across Johnson County, Indiana.

As an affiliate of the Johnson County Extension Homemakers, an extension of Purdue University, we stay true to our founding principles:

  • Fostering Quilting Excellence: We celebrate and advance the art of quilting through workshops, demonstrations, and knowledge sharing
  • Welcoming All Skill Levels: Whether you’re just threading your first needle or creating museum-worthy masterpieces, you’ll find encouragement and belonging here
  • Serving Our Community: We transform our passion into purpose through teaching, volunteer work, and meaningful donations that touch lives throughout Johnson County
